At BumpStory, we believe your pregnancy memories deserve care and respect. Your personal journal is not publicly shared, and we do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
We use your information to provide and protect the BumpStory experience, keeping your pregnancy journey organised and available to you.
Who we are
BumpStory is created and operated by Kounga Solutions. In this policy, “we” refers to Kounga Solutions and “BumpStory” refers to our pregnancy journaling app and related services.
Information you choose to keep
BumpStory stores the information needed to create and maintain your personal pregnancy journal. This may include:
- Your email address and account information.
- Pregnancy details, such as your due date, last menstrual period, and journey nickname.
- Photos you upload and their associated dates, pregnancy weeks, angles, and notes.
- Personal journal entries and memories.
- Measurements such as weight, belly circumference, blood glucose, and blood pressure.
- Your preferred measurement units and essential technical information needed to run and protect the service.
Some photos may also be temporarily cached on your device to help them load faster.
How your information is used
Your information is used to provide the features you choose to use, including your pregnancy timeline, photo comparisons, measurements, and journal entries.
We do not sell personal information or use your pregnancy journal for advertising.
Keeping your memories private
Your pregnancy journey is yours to treasure. BumpStory keeps your personal photos, journal entries, pregnancy details, and measurements private to your account.
Other users cannot access your personal journal, and our administrative tools are limited to basic account information, such as your name and email address, for account management and support.
We do not sell your personal information, make your memories publicly available, or use your pregnancy journal for advertising.
Secure storage and trusted technology
BumpStory uses Google Firebase for authentication, journal data, photo storage, and supporting services.
We use authentication, access restrictions, and protected service functions to help keep your information secure. As with any online service, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
You're in control of your journal
You can update your journey details, edit your journal entries and measurements, change your preferences, and remove content from your journal within the app.
When you delete a photo, note, measurement, or pregnancy journey, it is removed from your journal and is no longer available to restore through the app.
You can also request account deletion through BumpStory Settings. This removes all data associated to your account permanently. If account deletion cannot be completed, the app reports the problem and attempts to restore the affected records.
A personal journal, not medical advice
BumpStory is a place to record your own pregnancy experiences. Measurements and other health-related information are provided for personal journaling and reference only.
BumpStory does not diagnose medical conditions or replace professional healthcare advice.
